Budget

The overall budget is approximately $6500 for the entire project at the time of writing. Despite the budget starting at approximately $5800 for the entire project, there were some changes that happened to expand these margins. The hours required to complete the project increased and cheaper options for purchased components were used. The machined parts for the drivetrain exceed no more than $50 in cost, and the purchased parts such as the ESC, motor, and radio exceed no more than $400. $100 of the reserve fund was used to accommodate part changes and the purchase of spare parts.
